Word of the day

Start off your day with a new word, a new quote, and a new mindset.

The word of the day for 3 October is: Perseverance.

Perseverance is defined as persistence in doing something, despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

Sometimes life disrupts what we need to do, curve balls are thrown and the easiest choice is to give up. The problem is, if we give up we will never know our true capabilities; we will never know if we can achieve what we set out to do. Audrey Hepburn famously said, “Nothing is impossible; the word itself says I’m possible”.

Perseverance is the key to achieving all seemingly impossible tasks. You cannot give up, you need to be determined, keep pushing, and keep trying. The problem may not be the goal but your method of achieving it. So, if something doesn’t work, try another method, just don’t give up. Franklin D Roosevelt said, ““When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on”.
