WATCH: Mrs Universe SA and Mrs Universe Africa crowned in Roodepoort

Commonwealth Pageants South Africa held the crowning of Mrs Universe South Africa and Mrs Universe Africa for 2019/ 2020 on Saturday, 28 September at the Roodepoort Theatre.
The glamorous event saw Krugersdorp resident Ianthe Ludeke crowned Mrs Universe South Africa 2019 and Alberton resident Nesisa Moyo crowned Mrs Universe Africa 2019.
The theatre was filled with spectators who were all dressed according to the glitz and glamour set-up of the pageant.
The platform for the pageant is Domestic Violence and Abuse and both winners did extraordinary work raising awareness and assisting victims of violence during their pageant journeys.
Contestants took part in the interview, the presentation on domestic violence and abuse and the onstage competition.
Both women will be taking part in the prestigious Mrs Universe pageant that will held in China in December.
The Mrs Universe pageant is the biggest for married and divorced women across the globe, with 80 countries competing annually.
Preparations will start this week to get the winners ready for this exciting, life-changing journey.
