The Family Fun day with a valuable service

The Pink Ladies Missing Persons Organisation will be providing FREE profiling and fingerprinting at the Discovery Community Forum's Annual Family Fun Day.

The Discovery Community Forum will be having its annual family fun day on 28 September; however, this one will be a little different.

The event will be held at the Len Rutter Train Park on the corner of Golf Club Terrace and Louis Botha Drive, from 9am and promises to be a blast. Entrance to the fun day is completely free, and once you are in, free train rides are available as well.

The motto for the Fun Day is “Make It, Bake It, or Grow It,” meaning all the craft and food stalls will be filled with something made, baked or grown. There will also be a performance by agility dogs who will be making their way through obstacle courses during the show.

To top off the event, there will be another free service, and this one is all too important. The Pink Ladies Missing Persons Organisation will be offering fingerprinting and profiling services to the community at no charge. The service will include full finger and palm prints, nail clippings and hair samples, attached to a document detailing the particulars of a person and their physical appearance.

The community is urged to take advantage of this service, so that should any of your loved ones go missing, you will be equipped with all the necessary information about the person, for the police to proceed with their investigation.

The Pink Ladies are especially urging parents to bring their children to be fingerprinted and profiled. The service is available for all ages; from birth upwards. So come and take advantage of this useful service and then enjoy the rest of your day with everything the Discovery Community Forum has planned at their Fun Day.
