Local company helps clean up Sparrows

Some of the buildings were vandalised by people who accessed the village through the broken fencing at the back and stole things like plumbing pipes and some parts of the building.

On Friday 13 September, Sparrows Rainbow Village had some of their buildings cleaned up and painted by the employees of Merville Civils Electrical (MC).

The men from the electrical company also rectified some electrical problems in the buildings and transformed them into clean functional homes for the residents of Sparrow Rainbow Village.

MC employee, Israel Ndlovu said, “It really feels good to be able to help and better the lives of the others. We started painting and fixing some broken things here on Monday and finished on Friday and I must say the place looks so much better now.”
