Gateway Village celebrates a colourful Casual Day

The day was full of activity, enjoyment and colourful characters who made the best of the day by singing and dancing.

Gateway Village in Ruimsig celebrated Casual Day on Friday 6 September with a procession of floats, characters and banners made by each house, workshop and the villagers.

Staff and villagers participated in a variety of games and events and were treated to a braai for lunch.

The Gateway Village raised funds by selling casual day stickers to the community and would like to thank all the businesses, schools, and universities that supported them.

Fundraising Administrator, Pat Coleman, said, “A special thank you to our top three loyal and biggest Casual Day supporters – the FNB Employee Volunteer Programme, Weltevreden Primary School and Attie Jonker.”
