Gavin Watson’s memorial service held in Little Falls

According to reports from Eyewitness News, Watson's son described his father as a man with an unshakable faith and a love so deep and pure for the Lord.

This morning, Friday, 30 August, Little Falls Christian Centre hosted a memorial service for African Global Operations (formerly Bosasa) CEO, Gavin Watson, who died in a controversial car crash on Monday, 26 August.

Watson, who is alleged to have taken his own life by crashing the vehicle, was remembered in a moving and empathetic ceremony which was attended by his friends, family and delegates from both private and public sector.

According to reports from Eyewitness News, Watson’s son described his father as a man with an unshakable faith and a love so deep and pure for the Lord.

Watson died shortly before he was due to appear before the Zondo Commission of Inquiry, which is investigating allegations into state capture.

His funeral, according to reports, is set to be held in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday, 4 September.
