He is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer, popularly known as Post Malone.
He is known for his skill of blending musical genres like pop, trap and rock into one.
Post first attained recognition in 2015 following the release of his debut single White Iverson which peaked in the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. He subsequently earned a recording contract with Republic Records.
His debut studio album, Stoney, which was released in 2016, peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200, and was eventually certified triple platinum.
Post’s second album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and broke several streaming records upon release. It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
Last year, he collaborated with Swae Lee on the song Sunflower for the soundtrack of the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Post has already sold 60 million records in the US and has received a Diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He has also won two American Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award and a MTV Video Music Award, and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.
