Children accidently burn down their house

We ask the community to reach out and help these innocent children

Wings of Inspiration urgently needs help from the community as they try to help five children who recently faced a traumatic experience.

According to Anthea Da Costa, co-owner of Wings, a mother of five children aged between six and 13 (three girls and two boys) was jailed and is still in jail.

The children were left at home without any adult supervision or care. Two of the youngest children played with matches and set the house alight, burning everything down.

The children are currently at their grandmother’s house with no clothes, school supplies, or books as everything they owned was destroyed in the fire.

The grandmother is also destitute, with nothing to give these children.

“We ask the community to reach out and help these innocent children by means of donations, clothes or food. Our hearts go out to these children, whose faces have been obscured for their safety.”

If you are able to help, please contact Anthea on 071 829 1293.
