WOW donates towards soup kitchen

The donations consisted of items such as food, toiletries, new and old clothes, as well as blankets.

The Women of the West Rand (WOW) champions met on Saturday, 22 June, for an event that they hosted in conjunction with Pure Romance at Florida Park. The women, who attended the event, discussed various topics that they all face, and how to deal with situations they find themselves in. Leilani Kuter, the founder of Date Night SA, was the guest speaker for the afternoon.

WOW gave everything their guests donated during the event to the Greymont Salvage Shop. The donations consisted of items such as food, toiletries, new and old clothes, as well as blankets.

Janet Booysen, the founder of WOW, thanked everyone who played their part in making a difference in the lives of others.

“Thank you to all the ladies for your generous donations and for supporting the Greymont Salvage Shop soup kitchen. The power of your kindness is heartfelt in those less fortunate and your compassion has such a positive effect on those in need,” said Janet.
