Living Waters golf day brings hope

"This year we partnered with The Els For Autism Foundation as we wanted to cater for the needs of the community while creating lasting care for those less fortunate".

On 30 April, Living waters of Hope (LWOH) successfully held its annual Golf Day at Ruimsig Country Club in partnership with The Els For Autism Foundation.

This year’s event followed a successful 2018 golf day with a handful of rugby legends.

Organisers Alf and Hester Levine said, “This year we partnered with The Els For Autism Foundation as we wanted to cater for the needs of the community while creating lasting care for those less fortunate”.

By 11.15am, the participating golfers had already gathered at the Ruimsig Country Club, ready for the 11.30am tee-off. There was a good spirit of charity among the players, chatting casually as they made their way to the shotgun start.

The format was a Four-ball Alliance (two scores to count) and the cost was R4 000 per four-ball.

LWOH thanked all the golfers who participated on the day and all the sponsors who made the event a success.
