Last week, the Dutch Reformed Church in Horizon North held another successful annual market day to raise funds for the church.

The community came out in numbers to support the good initiative and they were met with various delicacies such as pancakes, curry and rice, boerewors rolls, gourds, vetkoek, cake, rusks, puddings and more. Various items were also available at the white elephant table.

There was entertainment for the little ones, who had a jumping castle and jungle gym to play on, as well as the chance to buy toys and sweets. The event started at 8am and ended at about 12:30pm.

The community was pleased with the event and is already looking forward to the next one.
