Public libraries to be closed on public holidays

The City of Johannesburg wishes to notify its users that public libraries will be closed on public holidays.

According to the Director of Library and Information Services, Nobuntu Mpendulo, the City of Johannesburg’s public libraries will be closed on Friday, 19 April in celebration of Good Friday; Saturday, 20 April; Monday, 22 April in celebration of Family Day; Saturday, 27 April in celebration of Freedom Day, and on Wednesday, 1 May in celebration of Worker’s Day.

Every last Wednesday of the month, the Witpoortjie Library will be closed from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
