The body of a young boy was found in an open veld near the railway station in Horison on the afternoon of 9 April.
He had a stab wound to the chest.

Captain Juanita Yorke, the Roodepoort Police spokesperson confirmed the incident and said, “A murder case has been opened and is being investigated. Because of the nature of the case, I cannot divulge any more information.”
Members of the public were warned to remain vigilant at all times.
