Care centre at retirement home revamped

It took about eight months to fully renovate the Clivia Care Centre.

It was a special occasion for the senior residents of the Flower Foundation Retirement Home when the Clivia Care Centre was launched on Friday, 8 March.

The care centre is situated within the Flower Foundation Retirement Home village and its objective is to care for the elderly who require 24-hour care. During the launch, management also gave visitors the opportunity to view the centre, leaving most of them happy with the services it offers.

Ann Jason, manager of the Retirement Home who facilitated the overview, said, “We care about the senior citizens; they are our priority. The care centre has been renovated to make it more homely and cosy for our residents,” Ann said. “We offer independent living for residents who prefer it and 24-hour care for residents who need it.

“When senior citizens get to the age where they are unable to look after themselves, they will require 24-hour care,” Ann added.

Flower Foundation provides care for their residents and this gives family members peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are looked after. For more information about the centre, contact its sales office on 011 781 4920 or the Witpoortjie Village office on 011 762 8284.
