The Roodepoort branch of Child Welfare South Africa (CWSA) will be hosting two charity events in the following month or two, and need the community’s help.

“We will once again be collecting Easter eggs that will be handed out to less privileged children. We are asking the community to please help us to make this holiday special by donating some,” said Estelle Odendaal, the manager at the Roodepoort CWSA.

She added that they will welcome any and all donations, big or small, and said, “Donations can be dropped off at our offices at 45 Du Toit Street, Discovery.”They will also be hosting a charity breakfast on 16 March at Rusty Hook, 22 Wilge Street, Wilgespruit from 9am.

Tickets to this event cost R150 per adult, with children under 12 only paying R100. The guest speaker on the day will be Jonaid Bobert. “To secure a place at this breakfast, you need to RSVP on or before 4 March,” Estelle said.
