Weapons discovered on property

According to BCI, police members from Cluster Team, Flying Squad and K9 unit who attended the scene have launched an investigation into the items discovered.

 

Various police departments and local security were called into a property in Strubens Valley on Thursday, 24 January, following the discovery of a cache of firearms and ammunition by the property owner.

According to a post by BCI Security, the owner, who has been struggling for four years to evict illegal occupiers from the property and finally managed to serve them with eviction papers, discovered the weapons while conducting a clean-up operation.

Honeydew Police are yet to provide a full report on the investigation.
