Readers and writers make sure you head to Moors Castle this weekend

The festival will take place from 10am to 6pm.

Moors Castle, which is located just off Beyers Naudé and the R114/ Drift Boulevard, Muldersdrift, on Larsens Road, will be hosting a festival for the arts, for the travellers, for the explorers, and for those who get lost in every word they read or write, on 26 January.

The 2019 Readers and Writers Festival will see more than 20 local authors selling their work and doing book signings. There will also be talks by published authors on how to get one’s work out there, the best publishing routes, what makes a great story, how to get one’s books onto the shelves and, of course, how to sell one’s books.

With the festival being a Writers Bloc event, there will naturally be poetry, and they will be launching Writers Bloc’s first book at the event and have their poets performing with their hearts on their sleeves as well, as an open mic slot for all else to express themselves, living up to their motto “express what is inside your chest”.

The festival will take place from 10am to 6pm, and tickets will cost R80. For more information you can contact Writers Bloc via e-mail on info@writersblocinternational.com.
