Maragon Ruimsig welcomes newest Grade 1 group

The little ones engaged in all sorts of activities throughout the morning of their first day of Grade 1.

Maragon Ruimsig’s primary school welcomed its newest group of Grade 1 learners on Monday, 14 January, with a morning full of fun for the little ones.

The morning started off early for the Grade 1s and their parents, with the school welcoming parents and learners from as early as 7am, giving the parents a chance to help their little angels sort their stationery and colour in some pictures.

Once the parents were gone, the new Grade 1s settled into their classes nicely and started playing games and doing some exercises to try and help them feel more at ease. At about 9.30am, the teachers took the Grade 1s out into the Grade 1 playground for a special picnic.
