The MMC for Economic Development and councillor for Ward 97, Leah Knott, has called on residents to participate in this weekend’s A re sebetseng clean-up in Ruimsig.
The clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, 19 January from 9am.
Leah indicated that the meeting point will on the corner of Short and Pierre Roads, and also encouraged residents to bring their own gardening tools.
“Feel free to bring some gardening implements if you can,” she said.
She also indicated that refuse bags, as well as latex gloves, will be provided to those without their own.
