With the new school year now under way, Constantia Kloof Primary School has welcomed some new members of staff while some old staff have new positions.
CKPS has welcomed three new intern teachers to the school’s Foundation Phase, with each grade receiving one intern. This year, Jomandi Boshoff will be the Grade 3 intern teacher, Maryna de Klerk is the Grade 2 intern, and Tiffany Johnson is the Grade 1 intern. The three intern teachers aren’t the only ones who hold new positions in 2019 however, as the school now also has three new heads of department (HODs).
The three new HODs are Henry Bergsma, a Deputy Principal; Sinda Pillay, the HOD of the Foundation Phase; and Kate Mahlangu, the HOD for Guidance in the Foundation Phase. Five of the HODs from previous years are still on board too. They are Jannes Fourie, the Principal; Sandy Jonker, a Deputy Principal; Janine Fleetwood, the HOD for Guidance in the Intersen Phase; Rudi van Dyk, the HOD for Extra Curricular Activities; and Joanita Beeslaar, the HOD for the Intersen Phase.
