Suspects targeting kids in Roodekrans

RNW's ops room must be contacted if vehicle is spotted.

A warning has been issued on social media about men robbing children in the Roodekrans area.

The men allegedly take the children’s cellphones and whatever other valuables they might have on them. The latest incident was reported on Tuesday, 4 December, at the park on the corner of Elkie Drive and Caledon Street. The incident took place just after 5pm.

The men drive a beige sedan, possibly a Toyota Cressida, although this has not been confirmed (see photo).

Anyone who spots the vehicle is requested to contact the Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch on 081 043 9488.
