The theme was “Black, White and Red” to signify Christmas. Members from branches across the West Rand attended, including Randburg, Randfontein, Krugersdorp and Roodepoort. The evening was spent in an informal fashion feasting on pizzas.
In attendance, among others, were Lynette Harris from Randburg (Immediate Past President), Stephanie Greenwood from Randburg (Secretary and Treasurer), Ernest Greenwood from Randburg (Sgt At Arms), Glen Campbell from Roodepoort, (Vice President Public Relations), Max Kaan from Roodepoort (Vice President Membership) and Esther Dreyer from Randfontein (President).
Toastmasters describe themselves as “a non-profit educational organisation that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Through its thousands of member clubs, Toastmasters International offers a programme of communication and leadership projects designed to help people learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking”.
