The African National Congress (ANC) branch in Ward 97 recently distributed sanitary towels to various disadvantaged plots in the area.

The leadership and supporters of the party, led by Lebo Mafokane, the ANC deputy chairman of the branch, visited at least seven settlements, including Plots 49, 57, 72, and 323, as well as the Clover Road and Johan Road plots.

The initiative was part of spreading the love for Christmas and the party’s Thuma Mina door-to-door campaign, which was launched by the party’s President Cyril Ramaphosa, as a slogan for the upcoming 2019 elections.
