The King’s School West Rand staff and learners have made their institution proud after receiving awards at the Gauteng Department of Education’s Johannesburg West District Awards event recently.
Educator Maria Luchies attained first place in the Coach of the Year category while educator Mercia Swanepoel received an award for third place in the Primary Female Cultural Coordinator of the Year category.
Learners Liam Bester received the Culture Stars of the Year award, and peer Mariela Romanelli took the second position in the same category.
