Matla A Bana benefits from Keller Williams

The world-renowned property agency managed to raise hundreds of Rands in cash and pamper packs.

Keller Williams Realty held yet another fundraiser at Planet Fitness Ruimsig in aid of Matla A Bana, following up on the Spring Day Spinathon which they held back in September.

The fundraiser morning started as early as 7am, and was split into three individual sessions which started with yoga and then spinning, and finally zumba. The entrance fee for the sessions was simple: a Matla A Bana pamper pack which contains various hygiene and food items as well as clothing such as underwear that will hopefully assist the children when they are taken in by Matla A Bana.

Keller Williams admittedly did not achieve the turnout they had hoped for, but this does not mean they didn’t collect sufficient items for Matla A Bana. The fitness day managed to raise more than R1 000 in pamper packs as well as cash for Matla A Bana.

While this doesn’t sound like much to most, the money and products will undoubtedly go a long way to doing a great deal for the organisation which acts as a refuge for children who have been abused. A basket will be left at Planet Fitness for the week of 26–30 November so that residents can drop off pamper packs for Matla A Bana.
