Data and voice services down for Cell C users

Cell C will provide customers with 1GB of data

Users of the mobile network Cell C took to social media to voice their dismay when they could not place calls or access the internet today, 1 December.

The mobile network has since identied the fault. They posted on their Facebook page that a data centre experienced a power surge due to loadshedding which tripped the air conditioning.

They have since posted that they will provide each user with 1GB of data valid for five days to show their appreciation for the patience shown in this time.
