Schools compete in Top Trumps tournament

Top Trumps is an educational, social and competitive card game based on a wide range of factual areas.

 

A score of schools gathered at the Readers Warehouse in Hillfox to participate in the Top Trumps regional finals recently.

The tournament consisted of two regional finals; one in Cape Town and another in Johannesburg. The local one saw a number of schools participating in the competition including The Ridge School, Pretoria Preparatory School, Jeppe Preparatory School and Welridge Academy in Weltevreden Park.

From the pool of participants, there could only be one winner, and Promise Ratsela from Kabete Primary School scooped the big prize for being the victor during the games.
