“My goal for this event was to give our young people a new perspective on life as a whole and to help them understand that they have an opportunity to leave a great legacy for those who follow. I invited young people from the surrounding areas, churches and schools. It was my first youth outreach, so it was important to keep the numbers to a maximum of 20 for it to be successful,” said event organiser, Felicia Jones.

Various guest speakers were invited to talk about relationships, substance abuse, sexual health, career choices, crime, violence, bullying, HIV/ Aids, and abuse, as well as other relevant topics.
