KCVA sends out second warning regarding crime vulnerable times

Among other crimes committed in past 24 hours was a house robbery.

Kruin Community Voluntary Association’s (KCVA) founder, Senior Advocate Deon van Wyk, once again warned the community as to the times they are most vulnerable to falling prey to crime.

In a post on KCVA’s WhatsApp group, Van Wyk wrote that the following crimes have been committed since yesterday (11 October) in the Helderkruin/ Roodekrans/ Wilro Park area:

• An armed house robbery took place in Integra Drive in Breaunanda at approximately 1pm. Four armed suspects fled in a white VW Golf GTI

• Theft of a Ford Ranger on Kapiva Street in Roodekrans. The vehicle was recovered on Albertina Sisulu Road

• Trespassing by a wall-jumper on Zebrina Street in Helderkruin

“Please be extremely vigilant. As per our previous warning, our weekdays between Tuesday and Friday between 10am and 1pm are high risk periods. Please make sure that no dustbins are left outside. Be aware of house markings and report suspicious persons and vehicles immediately,” asked Van Wyk.
