Residents of Ward 71 now have a website they can visit to stay informed about community news. The website was recently launched by Ward 71 councillor, René Benjamin.
The website covers information affecting the following areas: Reefhaven (Hammer Street), Davidsonville, Lindhaven, Groblerpark (Exts 1, 52, 55, 75, 76, and 79), Princess AH (Exts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 14), Witpoortjie, Culembeeck AH and Batavia (Ext 1).
Residents will be updated on community meetings, municipal matters, local events, important contact numbers and so on.
According to Benjamin, there are over 33 000 residents within the ward, which covers an area of 11,9 square kilometres.
