A biker broke his wrist and injured his back in an accident at the intersection of Trezona Avenue and Payne Street during the late afternoon of 10 October.
The accident took place at about 5.25pm. It is alleged that a vehicle travelling on Payne Street in the direction of Trezona Avenue failed to stop at the stop sign. The motorcycle travelling on Trezona Avenue in the direction of Hoërskool Bastion then collided with the vehicle.

While the scene was still active, a motorist who was rubbernecking collided with another stationary vehicle. No one was injured in the second incident.
The biker was treated on scene and then taken to Leratong Hospital.
