Prayer warrior, intercessor and narrator of “Hope Prayer Healing” extends an invitation to all women in and around Roodepoort to stand together in prayer.
53-year-old Val Moonsamy started holding prayer session in January 2009 after the loss of her son Mervyn. “My desire is to see all of our children safe, secure, protected, free, prosperous and successful. I strongly believe in the power of prayer,” she said.

“Let us come together and sacrifice three days of fasting and prayer for our children. Esther fasted and prayed for three days and saved her people from death. As did Esther, we too can save our children from destruction and death,” said Val, founder of Hope Prayer Healing.
“By the authority that has been granted to us let us stand together to come against the wiles of the devil. Let us pray that God would thwart any plan that Satan has to destroy their lives through drugs, alcohol, abuse, human trafficking, violence and carnage on the roads,” she said.
Val also prayed and said, “Dear heavenly Father, even though we don’t always know where our children are, You do. Thank You that You always keep Your eyes on them, to protect them from harm. Thank You that “no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) Father, please surround them with Your angels. Guide them away from danger and far from any evil plans of ungodly influences . Amen.”
