Learn more about alpacas at the Alpaca Farm

Bring a donation for the Happy Yappers Animal Sanctuary

Community members are invited to visit the Alliepad Alpakkas on 25 and 26 August from 10am to 3pm to interact with the alpacas, visit their fibre festival stalls and join one of their make-and-take workshops.

There is no entrance fee, but any donation to the Happy Yappers Animal Sanctuary would be welcome.

What you can expect:

– Take a selfie with the alpacas and upload to our page, or tag us on Facebook

– View and interact with the alpaca herd (unfortunately no cuddling or touching of the animals allowed.)

– Question-and-answer sessions

– Alpaca wool products will be on sale

– Yarn stalls

– Weaving and spinning

– Crochet and knitting

– Food and drink stall (some light refreshments)

– Workshops
