Are you missing this cold-blooded friend?

Snake is dehydrated.

This is one pet most residents will probably not falsely claim if its not theirs – a boa constrictor.

Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch (RNW) has issued a notification that one of these reptiles was found this morning. They did not say where, but according to the message it has “scale damage, most likely from trying to escape. Its weight is perfect suggesting that it was well looked after as far as feeding goes. Dehydration means she was without water for about a week. Scale damage is not the worst issue. Will look for mites and more tomorrow since mites could also do scale damage. It is docile and easily handed. It is about 2.4m long and the tail length suggests it is most likely a female. She is gorgeous”.

Anyone who believes the snake is theirs and can positively identify it, can contact the RNW’s operations room on 081 043 9488
