Take a hike for charity
Every individual who donates to this initiative will receive a 30 per cent discount on the entrance fee and have access to one of Gauteng's most breathtaking views and experiences.
“Wherever there is a need, Epic Hikes does its utmost to fill the gap, lend a helping hand and step in to make a difference in a life,” said Epic Hikes Public Relations Assistant, Nolusindiso Phenya.
On 8 July, Epic Hikes will be collecting blankets from all those who will be part of the hike, as part of a blanket drive for charity . Every individual who donates to this initiative will receive a 30 per cent discount on the entrance fee and have access to one of Gauteng’s most breathtaking views and experiences. The hike will be taking place at Uitkyk Hiking Trail, Hartebeesfontein at 7.30am and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
“We understand that at the end of the day it’s not about what we’ve attained or what we’ve accomplished. It’s about who we’ve encouraged, who we’ve helped and whose life we’ve made an impact on,” she added.
Residents who would like to get involved with the Blanket Drive but are unable to participate in the hike are requested to please send their blankets and donations to a delivery location that will be provided upon request.
