CPF members made a shocking discovery in a veld off 12th Street in Maraisburg yesterday afternoon (20 June).
“ER24 paramedics were called to the scene at 1pm where they found a foetus wrapped in a cloth lying in the veld.
After assessment, it was found that the foetus had already been dead for some time. Unfortunately, paramedics could do nothing more,” said Russell Meiring, the ER24 spokesperson.

Local authorities were on the scene and an investigation will be launched into the matter.
