City Power warns of planned outage in Helderkruin and Horizon View

Interruption necessary to do essential maintenance on network

The City of Johannesburg’s electricity entity, City Power, is notifying customers to prepare for a planned outage on 22 June.

The outage, which will be from 10pm on 22 June to 6am on 23 June, is necessary to do maintenance work on the network.

The following areas will be affected:

• Helderkruin Ext 15, 20, 21, 25, 9

• Horison Park

• Horizon View

This maintenance forms part of City Power’s programme of constantly striving to provide better service.

Customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, as the electricity can be restored at any time.

The entity apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by this interruption and urged customers who might have any queries or need more information on this outage to contact City Power’s call centre on 0860 562 874.
