Thirty-eight suspects were arrested last week during stop-and-search and special operations in Roodepoort.
The suspects, aged between 21 and 44, were arrested for drunken driving, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, contempt of court, possession of stolen goods, common assault, shoplifting, possession of drugs, possession of dagga and theft.

The suspects were all charged and detained at the Roodepoort Police Station, and will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
