Metrobus is back in business

Metrobus is back in business with renewed vigour.

After two weeks of service disruptions due to a strike, Metrobus and the Democratic Municipal and Allied Workers of SA (DEMAWUSA) have finally reached an agreement and its back to business for Metrobus.

During the period of the strike (from 5 to 18 June) Metrobus was experiencing difficulties in transporting commuters to various parts of the city and commuters had to make alternative travel arrangements while the company was trying to resolve the impasse.

Metrobus spokesperson, Goodwill Shivuri said, “Now that the strike is over, we can all focus our energies on serving commuters better. Please do accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that we may have caused.”
