One critically injured following Kloofendal accident

Patient airlifted to hospital

Two people sustained injuries, leaving one of them in a critical condition, during a head-on collision on Christiaan de Wet Road during the afternoon of Sunday, 17 June.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the two light motor vehicles on the side of the road. Both vehicles had sustained serious damage.

“Upon closer inspection, paramedics discovered a woman, believed to be in her 20s, lying in the rear of one of the vehicles, and a man in the front seat.

On assessment, the paramedics realised that the woman had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition. The man had sustained only moderate injuries,” said Russell Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.
