Man seriously injured in Floracliff accident
Man sustained serious injuries
A man was left seriously injured this afternoon (18 June) when the truck he was driving crashed into a tree on William Nicol Road in Floracliff.
ER24 paramedics, along with the City of Johannesburg’s Emergency Management Services (EMS), arrived on the scene at 12.10pm and found the wrecked truck against a large tree.
“A man, believed to be in his 40s, was trapped inside the vehicle and EMS had to use specialised equipment to free him.
Once freed, paramedics assessed him and found that he had sustained numerous injuries, leaving him in a serious condition,” said Russell Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
