Resident denies bogus fibre installers access to her property

A neighbour alleged that the men, driving a white Toyota Etios, pressed the intercom at the property and requested entry to do their 'job'.

 

Residents are being warned about bogus fibre installers attempting to rob residents in the area.

This follows a failed attempt in Roodekrans by men who claimed to be looking to evaluate a fibre installation at a property just after 1pm this afternoon, 13 June.

A neighbour alleged that the men, driving a white Toyota Etios, pressed the intercom at the property and requested entry to do their ‘job’.

As a result of the vigilant posts on social media about such perpetrators, the property owner denied them entry and posted the information about their attempt on various social media groups.
