Five Grade 8 learners from Royal College and Royal Kings School recently participated in the annual South African Agency for Science and Technology’s Astronomy Quiz.
Lucia Mavuso, Kamogelo Madisha, Vuyile Toli, Thato Lekgothoane and Antonio Petrone showed off their astronomy knowledge, and claimed a third place.
With this achievement, they qualified for participation in the competition’s next round. They said that they were very excited, and will be aiming for the stars, to take the top spot.
