Fifteen injured in taxi accident

Accident will be investigated.

Fifteen people were left injured yesterday afternoon(20 May) following a taxi rollover at the Main Reef Road and Hebbard Street intersection in Fleurhof.

ER24 paramedics, along with various other services, found the taxi upright on the side of the road. Its passengers were sitting on the side of the road. Paramedics assessed them and found that 15 had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. No serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

The victims were treated for their injuries and transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause of this incident.
