33 suspects arrested over weekend
Arrests made during stop-and-search operations.
Roodepoort Police made 33 arrests from 18 May to 20 May.
The suspects, aged between 18 and 54, were arrested on the following charges – assault with the intention to do grievous bodily harm, possession of drugs, theft, possession of dagga, shoplifting, theft out of a motor vehicle, assault of a police officer, common assault and drunk in public.
The suspects have been detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
