Metro Police holds anti-drug campaign

Live entertainment was provided at Rainbow FM.

An anti-drug campaign was held in Florida on Saturday, 5 May by community members, the Metro Police’s Community Outreach Unit and the Florida Police.

It started with a 5km walk from Florida Primary School to the Rainbow FM station where there were live performances by various local artists, and a number of exhibitions. Protesters carried placards with slogans such as ‘#Drugs Must Fall’ and ‘No to drugs’.

The day ended with Metro Police officer Xoli Fihla being interviewed on Rainbow FM to highlight the dangers of drug abuse and the negative impact it has on society.
