Head-on collision leaves seven injured

The accident happened on Sunday, 8 April.

 

During the weekend, various ambulance services raced to the R563 close to the N14 in Muldersdrift, where seven people were injured in a head-on collision.

The patients, according to Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson, sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate in an accident that occurred on Sunday, 8 April.

“When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene just after 12pm, the patients were out of their vehicles and most were being assessed and treated. Upon further assessment, it was found that seven people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate,” Ineke explained.

ER24, as well as the provincial EMS, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

“The exact details surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene,” Ineke concluded.
