An attempted hijacking in Helderkruin on the morning of 6 April, has left community members shaken.
According to the Kruin Community Voluntary Association (KCVA), the incident happened just after 8am, on the corner of Koedoebessie Street and Banket Drive. During the incident, shots were fired, but luckily nobody was injured.

The would-be hijackers drove a brown BMW X3 with tinted windows, and fled in the direction of Foxglove Avenue/ CR Swart Road/ Wilgerood Avenue.
