Law enforcers target N14 over Easter period

According to Honeydew Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan, the operation deployed 21 members from the Jhb West Cluster, 18 from the West Rand Cluster and many more from various other law enforcement agencies.

 

A huge police presence is being maintained by different law enforcement authorities as the Easter holidays begin.

Dubbed the ‘Integrated Road Block Operation Paseka’, scores of officers from different clusters including the West Rand, Jhb West and Gauteng Traffic Department embarked on the huge operation on the N14 on 29 March, conducting vehicle checks and ensuring road safety.

According to Honeydew Police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan, the operation deployed 21 members from the Jhb West Cluster and 18 from the West Rand Cluster. Additional officers came from Mogale City, the K9 unit, and the Tshwane West Cluster, and a huge deployment came from the Gauteng Traffic Department and the Johannesburg Metro Police Department and other divisions of the police.
