Huge pothole on Wilgerood Road

Due to the heavy rain, the road is wet and very slippery.

Please note there is a huge pothole on Wilgerood Road in Helderkruin and motorists are urged to drive cautiously. Due to the heavy rain, the road is wet and very slippery.

The Record reported the pothole to Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA). The spokesperson, Bertha Scheepers said,

“Thank you for reporting this pothole which will be logged on our system. We will immediately inform the depot to make the area safe for travel until such time as the weather has cleared and repairs can be undertaken.”

Please note that you can report potholes, missing manhole covers, blocked kerb inlets, road trenches, road collapses, and damaged or missing stop or traffic signs to the JRA. Send an email to hotline@jra.org.za or, if urgent, call 0860 56 28 74 and select Option 5.
